Valentine's Day 2007

Today will be my first Valentine celebration with hubby since we started pak toh umpteen moons ago.

Since our early courtship, we have never celebrated Valentine's on the exact day. No, not that because he is a dim-wit(sometimes he is)... but because we only get to see each other during weekends. Thus, we normally celebrate our Valentine's Day together with our birthday or a weekend early. I don't quite fancy paying double ot triple for food portion that is downsized by half or thrice.

Anyway, this year we decided to have a go at it. To celebrate the much commercialised day, if not the most. As the trend goes, hubi had arranged a lomantic lunch on last Sunday at Sunway Pyramid. We went to Tony'sRoma and had a great time there eating ribs. We will still go out tonight but not to any fancy restaurants... they NEVER serve good food during festive season and prices is unreasonably high. Would rather go on normal days to enjoy the food and pay for it. Instead, we shall go to some food court or fast food joint... more comfy and you don't need to wait for hours for them to serve you dinner.

This year also marks my first year not getting hubby anything for Valentine's. I am quite crippled since my moving to the big city. I don't know where to shop for inspirational gifts. If he is reading this, BIG HINT!! HINT!! You are not bringing me out for shopping frequent enough!!!

Gotta get this out before I go off work. Plan to cabut early.... hahaha.
