Hubi was given (courtesy of Uncle Lim - may he rest in peace) a stack of Genting vouchers some months ago and finally we managed to arrange for an outing with my buddies. Little did we know that this visit will be the last with Uncle Lim around. We found out the next day he had passed away.... Sad.
Anyway, the trip was a well deserved get away for me although I had to endure a week of un-rest as MIL wasn't really keen on her son abandoning her like that. At times, I really wonder what is wrong with me.... or is there something wrong with her.... who needs to eat medicine leh?

Later, in the evening, the clouds dispersed and out popped KL city right where the clouds have hidden them. That was a sight to behold but nincompoop me was too busy eating. When I had my fill, and wanted to take that beautiful scene, the clouds had set in again. Damn.... and it had such a clear view of KLCC and KL Tower. Sigh.... time n tide waits for no man..... *regret*

I think the kids had the most fun as they get to go on rides and rides and rides.... Joshua had his first try on bumper car and the poor kid did not liked to be bumped.... Nick was too busy steering the wheels and made the car turn n turn but he had fun. As they say, one good turn deserves another.Don't they looked like being locked up in cages?
However, I think there is one particular parent who truly enjoyed those rides. Taking advantage of the excuse of bringing his baby to experience her first rides. Hmm..... can u guess who??
This trip does not only celebrate my anniversary with hubi but also as a celebration of 3 schoolmate buddies since secondary days and still going on strong with consistant meet-ups. We have seen each other gone through the the stages in life; the schooling days, the young adult working and slogging years; meeting our life partners and for some, the start of a family. We had come so far and yet it just seemed like yesterday that we have left school. It is a milestone of 20 years' friendship. Okay Aunties..... let's do this again... who's next to organise?
