The Drumstick

Today is my birthday!!! Yay!!! Happy Birthday to me and hubi!!!!

We both decided to spend the day galavanting and end off with a romantic dinner somewhere quiet. Unfortunately, our little secret of taking the day off was leaked out by FIL. Fortunately, MIL didn't make a big fuss but spoilt everything by telling us to be back for dinner at HER favorite restaurant. Dang!!!!!

However, we still had fun. Had breakfast with my FIL at SS2. Our breakfast costs RM3.80 per bowl and the total cost of drinks came to RM3.80. FIL bought newspapers for RM3.80. Hubi was grinning away with the icon that I have created for myself. Some of you would be smiling now. We got home and later got ready to go galavant. We went browsing through Courts Megastore. Nothing much there that could interest me. Hopped over to Ikea for lunch and I swiped for my cup of free coffee. and stole ideas for our Jalil apartment though we can't stay there.... yet. *think positive, Sien, think positive*

After much walking, we stopped by Jalil to pick up SM to have lunch with her. It was more like tea-time for me. Anyway, I was there to pick up some CNY goodie bag that her mum had prepared. So, we had some chews at Secret Recipe In Giant, Bandar Kinrara. After filling our stomach, we sent her back and went home ourselves.

MIL was home early and we had forty-winks before freshen up and went out for dinner. MIL had ordered noodles (Chinese loves noodles for birthdays). Chinese loves noodles for birthdays cos noodles are long and it signify longevity in life. Was joking with hubi that if the noodle signify your life then you must not chew the noodle else you shorten your life. Therefore, you must swallow your noodles whole. Haha!!! MIL also ordered mixed vege and 1/2 potion of salad chicken.

"Here! It's only 1/2 a chicken and there is only 1 drumstick. You 2 can share it since it's both your birthdays. Son, this piece is for you and Ah Sien, you can have this drum"stick".

Sigh.......
